A mysterious technological advanced organisation called Eteon is after a virus with the aim to kill the world population leaving the strong behind to bring a new world order. When a MI6 agent who happens to be Shaw's sister, escapes the clutches of Eteon and injects the virus into herself, she is framed for stealing the virus herself. Hobbs and Shaw are brought back together begrudgingly by the CIA to track down the virus and save the world.
