Do You Expect Us To Talk? continues the X-Men series with X-Men: First Class. With Matthew Vaughn at the helm after nearly directing Last Stand, we see the series take a prequel approach that can be seen as a reboot. Set in 1962, CIA agent Moira MacTaggert discovers a plot by a mysterious group with strange powers called the Hellfire Club, to manipulate the US to move missiles to Turkey that may trigger a war. Seeking the help of Charles Xavier, who has just earned his doctorate of Professor of Genetics, and his childhood shapeshifting friend Raven, to match their mutant abilities. Meanwhile Erik Lensherr is hunting down those responsible for the death of his mother, with his eye dead on Hellfire Club leader Sebastian Shaw.
