Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
It’s round two for Brosnan with his second installment Tomorrow Never Dies. Directed by Rodger Spottiswood in a more action packed adventure Bond takes on media baron Elliot Carver as he schemes to create a World War 3. Also starring Jonathan Pryce, Judi Dench, Teri Hatcher and Michelle Yeoh who nearly steals the film. Becca, Chris and Dave have fun as we go through the film and discuss its merits and weaknesses.

Ep 26 Goldeneye : Do You Expect Us To Talk?
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Another episode and another Bond as everyone’s favorite spy regenerates into a smooth talking Irishman. Goldeneye is Pierce Brosnan’s first film as James Bond after a long absence from the screen. Directed by Martin Campbell and also starring Sean Bean, Izabella Scorupco, Famke Janssen and featuring Judi Dench in her first appearance as M.
Goldeneye is an interesting watch as it’s beloved by most Bond fans and considered to be Brosnan’s best. However we pick it apart from the plot that makes no sense right down to that awful Éric Serra score.

Ep 25 Licence To Kill : Do You Expect Us To Talk?
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
What? We’ve finished with Dalton so soon? Not fair I know but his rein is as exallelt as it is brief. It’s no secrect that Chris and Dave concider this as one of ou favorites so the real question is will Becca agree?
The plot follows Bond on his own personal vendetta as he takes on a drug kingpin in the hardest Bond adventure yet. It’s split opions over the years but is slowly getting a reaprasial with its dark plot, fantastic lead performance and great villein. So sit back and enjoy listening to three Bond fans gushing about how great the last entry from Timophy Dalton is.

Ep 24 The Living Daylights : Do You Expect Us To Talk?
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Now we have said our goodbyes to the legend that is Rodger Moore… now it’s time for some Dalton baby. Timothy Dalton makes his debut in his way too brief run as 007. We talk about the stories of the casting and what actually happened and we have mostly nice things to say as we chat our way through the film. We even manage to make a dick joke.
Sit back and enjoy as we delve into The Living Daylights.

Ep 23 A View to a Kill Commentary : Do You Expect Us To Talk?
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
It’s commentary time again and this time we’ve done something different. Roping in a guest to talk over his favorite Bond film A View to a Kill, it’s the author of Catching Bullets-Memoirs of a Bond Fan, Mark O’Connell. In a commentary track a bit different than normal this feels like an actual discussion rather than our usual blow job jokes, so may work without watching the film itself. However we invite you to join us and wave Roger Moore off as we enter a new era .
You can check out Mark’s website for me information on Catching Bullets as well as reviews and various blog posts as well as catch him on Facebook and Twitter. You can also purchase Catching Bullets here.
And just in case you don’t have a copy here’s a link to the film here

Ep 21 The Spy Who Loved Me Commentary : Do You Expect Us To Talk
Friday Nov 19, 2021
Friday Nov 19, 2021
We’re back to commentary track time but not Live and Let Die as promised as we recorded it and it was absolute pants. So instead we recorded another with Roger Moore’s most famous entry The Spy Who Loved Me? Thankfully this wasn’t pants and probably one of the funniest things we’ve recorded. Sit back, listen while watching the film and hopefully you’ll be pissing yourself laughing like we were.

Ep 20 A View to a Kill : Do You Expect Us To Talk
Friday Nov 19, 2021
Friday Nov 19, 2021
James Bond is back and this time, he’s older than ever. We bid fairwell to Rodger Moore in his final performance as the super spy and he goes out with a bang. Out to stop Max Zorin with is recycled Goldfinger plot involving microchips that doesn’t make any sense.
Starring (too old for this shit) Rodger Moore as one half of the dream team with Patrick Macnee, a film stealing Christopher Walken, Grace Jones as Grace Jones, Tanya Roberts as a leading lady who only makes the leading man look older, The Chinese Detective and Dolph Lundgren more he was He-Man.

Ep 19 Never Say Never Again : Do You Expect Us To Talk
Thursday Nov 18, 2021
Thursday Nov 18, 2021
Well look who’s back after all these years… it’s only Sean bloody Connery. In the concluding part of the battle of the Bonds sees the original 007 return in a non-cannon remake of Thunderball, Never Say Never Again.
Join Becca Chris and Dave as they expect the worst and come away mildly surprised. Starring Sean Connery slipping into the tux one last time with Kim Basinger, Klaus Maria Brandauer, Barbara Carrera, Rowan Atkinson and Max von Sydow who Chris has fun pronouncing. Also making a return is Blofeld and SPECTRE as Kevin McClory comes back.

EP 18 Octopussy : Do You Expect Us To Talk
Thursday Nov 18, 2021
Thursday Nov 18, 2021
The battle of the Bonds has begun. Before we take on the return of Sean Connery we carry on with Rodger Moore in Octopussy. Without a doubt this is Daves favourite of the franchise…. not really.
This week Rebecca, Dave and Chris give a critical analysis on Fabergé eggs, knife-throwing twins, tennis players in films and Roder Moore’s age ruining the film. Listen as Dave loses the will to follow this films while Rebecca and Chris struggle with remembering the plot.
